BLUEPRINT FOR SUSTAINABLE AND FUTURE PROOF-EDUCATION ECOSYSTEMS From the beginning of the 21st century, all countries of the world have started to act with the aim of building sustainable development societies that can guarantee the welfare of the current generation and future generations, based on the question "What kind of world do we want?" .Thus, sustainable development has become one of the key concepts of the 21st century. At the World Summit held in Johannesburg in 2002, the ten-year period between 2005 and 2014 was declared by the United Nations as the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (IISD, 2012; OECD, 2008; UN, 2002). The issue of sustainability has been a concept that is emphasized with sensitivity in the education agenda of the whole world, and as a result, it has started to have effects on the formal and general education programs and practices of developed countries.
